Project Coordinator Job at CEMDO


CEMDO –Tanzania (NGO) is seeking a suitably qualified
Tanzanian to fill the following vacancy (URGENTLY)

Position: PROJECT COORDINATOR -ADVT N0 004/2019

Duration: February 2019 –

Project: Environmental and Energy

Focus area: Disaster Relief /Humanitarian Assistance

Place of duty: Nyarugusu Refugees Kasulu District Kigoma

Tentative starting date: March 2019

Requirements:

  • Minimum requirement ,Degree in Environmental Management or Natural Resources or related disciplines or ;
  • Specific and demonstrated skills and experience in Environments Rehabilitation, Land use planning and Natural Resources Management.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in similar position/Water project;
  • Experience/skills in projects’ planning and management ,Administrative and reporting,
  • Excellent communication capabilities;
  • Computer literacy;
  • Languages: English fluent, Kiswahili;
  • Strong commitment;
  • Flexibility, availability to perform other duties;
  • Team Player;
  • Willful to work in an international environment and aware of gender balance;


BASIC FUNCTION
PROGRAM COORDINATOR s/he is reporting to the Executive Director, responsible for overall personnel management of all staff under PROGRAM Field Office including mentoring, guidance, supervision and performance management. The Program Coordinator will work with the program department, financial department and HR office

KEY ROLES;

  • Project Performance management.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports
  • Individual and team performance management
  • Financial, administrative and Logistics management.
  • Managerial oversight of EEP Program contracts
  • Represent CEMDO to government bodies and other partners and stakeholders at Field Level
  • Participate in the development of country office program methodology and tools design and ensure projects are consistently applying the agreed project/programme tools.
  • Take lead on supportive role in business planning and development of CEMDO program /project activity.
  • Provide supportive technical leadership for institutionalizing core approaches to programmes.
  • Proper supervision of all direct reports
