This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in Tanzania National Electronic Procurement System (TANePS) on 29th September, 2020.
Kilimanjaro Airports Development Company intends to Lease an area for Provision of Catering Services at the Tour Operators and Drivers Lounge at Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA).
Kilimanjaro Airports Development Company now invites sealed tenders from the interested Service Providers for Provision of Catering Services at the Tour Operators and Drivers Lounge at KIA.
Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering as specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013-Government Notice No.446and Public Procurement (amended) Regulations,2016-Government Notice No.333and is open to all eligible Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
Interested eligible tenderer may obtain further information from the office of the Secretary of the Tender Board KADCO, located at Kilimanjaro International Airport, Terminal Building, 1st floor, office No.21 from Monday to Friday at 08:00 to 16:00 hours except on public holidays.
Interested tenderers should submit one original plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in a plain envelope delivered to the Secretary of the Tender Board, Kilimanjaro Airports Development Company (KADCO), at or before 15:00 Hours local time on 11th November, 2021. The tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderer’s representatives who choose to attend the opening at the KADCO Board Room 1st Floor of Kilimanjaro International Airport Terminal Building, KIA.
All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the tender document.
Site visit will be held on Friday 5th November, 2021 starting from 10:00 hours local time at Kilimanjaro International Airport.
A complete set ofTendering Document in English and additional may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundablefee of Tanzanian Shillings Fifty Thousand Only (TZS 50,000.00). Summary of the Position
The Youth Inclusion Lead will provide vision and leadership to implement youth-focused outreach project activities including preparing youth for gainful employment and entrepreneurship and expanding access to critical information. The Youth Inclusion Lead supervises the work of Regional Youth Specialists embed in project regional offices. The Youth Inclusion Lead will establish/strengthen relationships with private sector companies, farmer associations etc.
This position based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and will report to the Chief of Party.

- Analyze regional inputs and draft contributions to the project’s quarterly, biannual, and annual reports by highlighting successes, challenges, lessons learned and opportunities in youth programming within the project.
- Ensure visibility of youth-related project results, achievement and lessons learned through presentations at conferences and workshops and/or by publishing articles through professional journals.
Qualifications:
The position requires a competent and experienced person with the following attributes:
- Postgraduate degree in international development, agriculture, or relevant field with a minimum of seven years of demonstrated experience in youth-led economic growth and livelihoods programming on donor-funded international projects (such as USAID, EU, FCDO, etc.)
- Competent in designing portable skills curricula and facilitation of capacity building workshops for community, private companies, and public sector engagement.
- Fluency in English and Kiswahili in oral and written communication.
- Advanced skills in MS Packages, and experienced in monitoring, evaluation, and adaptive management.
- Demonstrated understanding and application of USAID Youth in Development Policy and Positive Youth Development frameworks preferred.
- Extensive knowledge in youth entrepreneur regional experience and experience in the Tanzanian country context strongly preferred.

- Support the target population to adopt healthy eating practices by introducing a range of innovative social and behavior change activities.
- Coordinate capacity building and technical support for beneficiaries on agri-nutrition issues, including nutrition-sensitive agricultural technologies.
- Work with the M&E officer to monitor adoption rates of new agricultural practices and food consumption methodologies, dietary diversification and nutrient dense diets across different gender and age groups.
- Promote appropriate methods of harvesting, handling, preservation, processing, storage to maintain the nutrient content of food and meet food safety standards.
Qualifications:
The position requires a competent and experienced person with the following attributes:
- Master’s degree in nutrition, public health, or agriculture with five years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study with at least eight years of relevant experience.
- Expertise in nutrition sensitive agriculture and food systems.
- Experience designing soft skills curricula and facilitating capacity building workshops – especially with low literacy populations – focused on nutrition-sensitive agriculture.
- Ability to lead nutrition analysis and recommend appropriate nutrition-sensitive interventions for agriculture programs, including designing and implementing tools and approaches to integrate nutrition support throughout agriculture programming.

Summary of the Position
The Regional Youth Specialists will lead technical assistance to implement youth-focused outreach project activities, including preparing youth for gainful employment and entrepreneurship and expanding access to critical information. The Specialists will promote youth networking and alliance building with farmer associations and private sector companies. This position will report directly to the Youth Inclusion Lead.
Regional Youth Specialists will be embedded in project regional offices within the regions of Morogoro, Iringa, Mbeya, Njombe, and Zanzibar.

The five-year project will focus on increasing the commercialization, inclusiveness, and competitiveness of horticulture market systems in Tanzania.
Summary of the Position
The Regional Youth Specialists will lead technical assistance to implement youth-focused outreach project activities, including preparing youth for gainful employment and entrepreneurship and expanding access to critical information. The Specialists will promote youth networking and alliance building with farmer associations and private sector companies. This position will report directly to the Youth Inclusion Lead.
Regional Youth Specialists will be embedded in project regional offices within the regions of Morogoro, Iringa, Mbeya, Njombe, and Zanzibar.

Duties:
- Provide youth-focused technical input into annual regional work-planning.

Qualifications:
The position requires a competent and experienced person with the following attributes:
- Postgraduate degree in international development, agriculture, or relevant field with a minimum of five years of demonstrated experience in youth-led economic growth and livelihoods programming on donor-funded international projects (such as USAID, EU, FCDO, etc.)
- Competent in designing portable skills curricula and facilitation of capacity building workshops for community, private companies, and public sector engagement.
- Fluency in English and Kiswahili in oral and written communication.
- Advanced skills in MS Packages, and experienced in monitoring, evaluation, and adaptive management.
- Demonstrated understanding and application of USAID Youth in Development Policy and Positive Youth Development frameworks preferred.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

The Role Responsibilities
To support RB Head in driving end-to-end Strategic Transformation of Retail Banking Clients. This includes coordination with relevant stakeholders in country and outside across relevant functions (e.g., Country Heads of Products, Head of Segments, Marketing, CEPG etc.). The role focuses on driving efficiencies, tracking execution of specific initiatives and providing periodic updates to Country, Regional and Group Strategic Transformation teams in executing distribution reorientation plans and deliver all strategic priorities of the Country
Financials & Economics
- Guardian of country models and financial outcomes analysis
- Work on simulation scenarios at country level as we progress through the transformation journey
- Closely work with country finance to ensure P&L assumptions are in sync with expected volumes
- Continuous validation of actual outcomes vs original assumptions
- Owning the overall cost savings targets within the Country in alignment with the overall RC Strategic Transformation effort
Cost Agenda and Business Efficiency
- Drive, deliver business efficiency and cost agenda for retail business
- Setup PWG and PSC to track direct cost and BE reporting for the region
- Handle and report efficiency saves on monthly basis in wave / clarity systems as required be
- Drive cost saves through digitization agendas once rolled out i.e. through new onboarding system (Workbench), Online sales setup, Transaction migration program to move customers from branches to online Branch rationalisation to deliver business efficiency saves
- Work with Group, finance teams and associated functions to report business efficiency and handle business reviews on cost management
- Review branch cost recharge policy &process for the region. Work with group team to relook at branch recharge policy and take necessary actions
Strategy and Business Management
- Optimize retail branch network in the region. Handle ongoing review branch profitability to optimise retail network. Support roll out new initiatives like Agency Banking etc to expand network
- Ensure effective delivery of Branch Restructuring Plans, PAR commitments on time, cost, scope and benefits
- Work closely with all business partners and ensure cost target is met
- Drive all strategic agenda’s for retail banking
- Support HoRB in executing strategies and plans to improve business performance.
- Support all business functions in meeting their budget numbers.
- Track business performance on daily basis and design ways to improve business reporting.
- Work closely with SBIM to understand the business requirements and provide support whenever required.
- Support client experience team and attend forums for discussion to improve service standard.
- Attend SLA meeting whenever required to support improvements and iron out areas of concerns.
- Work with product team to review process flows and DOI’s.
- Arrange meetings that will improve business understandings.
- Understand all products and support product managers to execute their day to day activities.
- Support rollout of new products.
- Support analytics to all business heads and provide solutions.
- Track performance of all business segments and highlight any issue.
- Be contact person to Finance and other supporting function.
- Work closely with Regional and CEO’s office in all requests.
Team Support
- Support Mwanza and Arusha performance
- Arrange for awards and recognitions for the team in various occasions.
- Work closely with business heads and support running the business.
- Engage in various platforms assigned to support teams.
- Arrange offsite meetings/townhalls.
- Spend time with retail banking team to understand needs.
- Work closely with HR, CLT, CMT, CCIB and support functions.
- Engage retail team on behalf of HoRB whenever required.
- Motivate the team to ensure best results are obtained.
- Attend all clients/cases escalated to HoRB
- Support Branches and call centre.
- Take part in forums to discuss TAT improvement. i.e. PIL
- Highlight pinpoints to Head of CE & GEPG whenever issues come to the attention.
- Attend client events and support RMs.
Governance
- Work closely with Governance and Risk team to insure safe environment of business.
- Attend all risk and governance meeting to understand the progress and share experiences.
- Review contracts and other documents before HoRB.
- Highlight any risk elements in the business.
